20年以上の長きに渡り活動を続ける東京ハードコアパンクバンド、GRIND SHAFTが2016年以来の新作をリリース。
元々ロッキンやスラッシーなイメージがあったGRIND SHAFTだが、作品を重ねるごとに、音に、言葉に奥行きが出てきた。面から空間となり、その精神世界は宇宙空間のように膨張を続けている。その果てに完成した今作"HIDDEN FOLKLORE"にはその質量を遥かに超える物語を内包している。物語の大半はその名の通り"隠されたもの"だ。ブラックボックスの中の音、言葉、そしてアートワークを、受け取ったあなた自身が自由に感じ取って欲しい。

After more than 20 years of relentless activity, Tokyo hardcore punk band GRIND SHAFT returns with their first new release since 2016.
GRIND SHAFT originally had a rockin’ and thrashy image, but with each new release, their sound and lyrics have gained depth and dimension.
What was once a flat surface has become a vast space—their spiritual world expanding endlessly like the cosmos itself.
At the far edge of that ever-expanding universe comes their latest work, HIDDEN FOLKLORE—an album that carries stories far beyond its sheer weight.
As the title suggests, much of that story remains hidden.
The sounds, the words, the artwork inside this black box—how you interpret them is entirely up to you.
