ROCKY&TheSWEDENの30周年イヤーとなる2026年、これまで長く入手困難となっていた初期7インチを一挙収録した編集盤CDが誕生。
これは新作アルバムと同じくして長く作品化が望まれていたものであろう。バンドの初期衝動を正しく捉えた初期の7インチシングル3作品が1枚のCDとなって遂に復活する。その後リリースされたアルバムへの収録は勿論、ライブでもいまだに演奏されている楽曲も多いが、その形は今と全く同じではない。Kengo Sweden、そしてSukekiyo Swedenと現メンバーとはギタリストが異なるため当然と言えば当然ではあるが、その差異にも是非耳を傾けていただきたい。装丁は30周年記念スペシャルエディションとなっているため、以後の再プレスの際には変更となる可能性あり。

In 2026, the 30th anniversary year of ROCKY & The SWEDEN, a long-awaited compilation CD is finally arriving—collecting in one place the early 7-inch releases that have been out of print and difficult to obtain for many years.
Much like the new full-length album, this is a project fans have been hoping to see materialize for a long time.
Three of the band’s early 7-inch singles, which perfectly capture their initial burst of creative energy, are revived together on a single CD. Many of the songs later appeared on full-length albums and are still performed live to this day, though not in the exact same form. Naturally, the sound differs due to the presence of Kengo Sweden and Sukekiyo Sweden on guitar in those days, rather than the current members—but that contrast is precisely what listeners should pay attention to.
The packaging is presented as a special 30th anniversary edition, and may be subject to change in future repressings.
